Priscilla Clare graduated with a degree in Creative Writing but soon felt the pull of the visual arts after spending a summer in Queenstown NZ, which she now calls home. Her practice explores the natural world through still life and landscapes. She is currently working with oil paint but has experience with a variety of media. Life, death, seasons and cycles are symbols she explores through her still life pieces incorporating skulls, flowers and insects. After several summers spent hiking in the mountains, she is exploring landscapes from an experiential perspective.
